Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti – The Journey Begins

Start early in the morning from Arusha (or Kilimanjaro International Airport). You will meet your guide and begin the drive to Serengeti. The road journey takes about 6 to 7 hours, but it’s very scenic. You will pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you might spot animals even before you reach Serengeti. Enjoy a hot lunch on the way and continue to the park.  Arrive in Serengeti in the afternoon. Go on your first game drive right away. This is your first chance to see animals like elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, and maybe even a cheetah. Check in Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp. Enjoy dinner and relax under the stars while listening to the sounds of the wild.

 

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Serengeti – Wildlife Adventure

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive. Early mornings are the best time to see big cats like lions and leopards. The light is also beautiful for photos. Return to camp for breakfast, or take it with you for a picnic in the bush. Spend the rest of the day exploring different areas of Serengeti. Your guide will take you to spots where wildlife is most active. Depending on the season, you might witness the Great Migration thousands of wildebeests and zebras moving across the plains.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at a safe and scenic spot inside the park. Continue the game drive until the late afternoon. You may visit river areas, open plains, or acacia woodlands. Return to your camp or lodge for dinner. Share stories around the campfire before a good night’s rest.

 

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Return to Arusha

Go for a short sunrise game drive to enjoy one last look at the Serengeti animals in their natural home. Return to camp for breakfast and pack up. Start the drive back to Arusha, passing through Ngorongoro and other scenic areas again. You can stop for photos or quick breaks. Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon or early evening. You can either be dropped at your hotel or the airport if you are flying out.
