Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport and Transfer to Lake Mburo

Arrival at Entebbe International Airport and you will be picked by a Company representative at your specified time. Transfer to Lake Mburo national park on reaching in time to have lunch. Have lunch and relax. Later in the evening go for an evening game drive. It offers spectacular views of Wild animals like zebras, water bucks, bush bucks, slender mongoose, buffalo, elands, warthogs, bush rat and impalas along with various bird species.

Day 2: Game drive and Boat cruise

After breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive. It offers spectacular views of Wild animals like zebras, water bucks, bush bucks, slender mongoose, buffalo, elands, warthogs, bush rat and impalas along with various bird species. After lunch go for afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo until evening and drive back at the lodge for dinner and a night. Optional activities Horse riding, Cycling, Nature walk.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi and reaching early noon, relax, have lunch. Later prepare for a boat cruise on the calm waters of this lake. Accommodation: Bunyonyi Overland or Arcadia Lodge

Day 4: Boat Cruise and transfer to Mgahinga National Park

After breakfast, you will go for a boat cruise in the morning. Later transfer to Mgahinga National Park with enroute lunch. Reaching in late evening, check in, relax, later dinner will be served and a night. Accommodation: Ikoro lodge, Kisoro travelers

Day 5: Golden Monkey Trekking

After breakfast, you will transfer to Mgahinga National Park headquarters you will be briefed about the dos and don’ts while with golden monkeys and then proceed to the mountain/forest for your trek. You will be allowed enough time with researchers if you choose to do golden monkey experience and only one hour if you choose to do golden monkey trekking. Return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight. 

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, you will and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. This National Park is located in the south-western part of Uganda next to the Virunga National Park and on the edge of the Albertine Rift. Bwindi national park is a home to various animal and bird species. This includes over 214 species of birds and 120 species of mammals.

Uganda Gorilla SafariBwindi national park is well known for its endangered mountain Gorillas. Apart from the gorillas there are other animals like the ‘Hoest’s monkey, African elephant, African green broadbill, Grauer’s rush warbler, Chaplin’s flycatcher, African giant swallowtail among others. Lunch will be enroute and in the afternoon relax at the Lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 7: Gorilla tracking trekking

An early morning breakfast, go for a briefing at the park headquarters, in accompaniment of guides and rangers, you enter the forest to begin the Gorilla tracking activity which takes 2-6 hours depending on the movements of these gorillas. After reaching them you will spend 1 hour with them. After tracking, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 8: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park with enroute lunch. You will check in and relax. Dinner and a night as suggested.

Day 9: Game drive and Boat Queen Elizabeth national park 

Quench your thirst for adventure this morning as you sacrifice your morning sleep for a sunrise game-drive. Resting for lunch, you then take an afternoon boat-ride on the approximately 33kms long channel “Kazinga Channel” that links Lake George and Lake Edward. The channel is a haven for probably the highest concentration of hippos in Africa and numerous Nile crocodiles as well as a rich bird-life that flourishes on the banks as above.

Enjoy breakfast and start your long, scenic journey to Kibale national park and after reaching you will go to the headquarters for briefing. While tracking chimps you might spot other animals like the red and blue duikers, bush pigs, warthogs, buffalo and elephants. Various birds can also be spotted while on the trek. Dinner and overnight will be at the lodge.

Day 11: Transfer to Jinja

Begin your adventure with an early morning breakfast and transfer to Jinja. You will have enroute lunch and proceed to Jinja. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 12: Tubing on the Nile and White-Water Rafting

After breakfast, head out to the starting point to pursue your dream lovely water sport. On arrival have briefing on what to observe while on white water rafting adventure. Later, get your jackets ready to embark on your actual raft. This water sport takes you through the 8 grades for you to challenge yourself but when starting, it takes you through a less energy demanding point.

After lunch, the guide will give you a safety talk and after he will issue everyone with a tube to go swimming in the river, Later transfer back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 13: Relaxation Day

Have breakfast and Relax at the lodge. Lunch, dinner and night at the lodge

 

Day 14: Visiting the source of the Nile and relax

Have morning breakfast, and later we drive to the Nile. Enjoy a memorable boat cruise along the white waters of R. Nile the longest river in the world, return to the lodge and spend the rest of the evening enjoying the scenic views of this amazing area. Dinner and Overnight

Day 15: Transfer to Lake Nakuru from Uganda

Early morning breakfast, checkout of the lodge and start the road drive to Kenya crossing the Kenya – Uganda border through Busia border with stopover en route. Have your luggage supervised with more ink added in your passport as you check another country off your bucket list. Late evening arrival in Nakuru, check in at the hotel, have Dinner and Overnight.

 Day 16: Boat cruise and other activities in Lake Nakuru National Park

Have breakfast and after go for a boat cruise on Lake Nakuru. This is a great birding site and is rightly named “the birdwatchers paradise”. The park also hosts many mammals such as African Lion, Black Rhino, White Rhino, Leopard and Rothschild’s Giraffe.

Day 17: Transfer to Naivasha and Birding

After breakfast, you will drive to Naivasha where you where you get to enjoy a morning boat ride. During this tour you are likely to see fish eagles hunting for fish in the lake, cormorants and ibis among other water birds. Dinner and a night as above.

Day19: Transfer to Masai Mara National Park

Embark on journey making the first stop for breathtaking views and photography at the Great Rift Valley. At this very point you may also choose to visit the art and craft market to purchase some African gifts then proceed on a drive to Masai Mara. The drive to the park will welcome you with wildlife views like zebras, Warthogs, Wildebeests, Monkeys and Baboons and Giraffes.

Rhino Tracking in Masai Mara check in at the hotel, have lunch and drive for to your first game drive, enjoy views of Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Zebras, Kobs, Leopards, Buffaloes, Antelopes among many others. Drive to your lodge for check in as you prepare to have your dinner and to spend the night at the lodge.

Day 20&21: Game drive in Masai Mara National Park

Breakfast will be served at your lodge and go for game viewing experience with in Masai Mara national reserve. During your game drive, you will see a variety of wildlife species such as the predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs as well as other wildlife species like elephants, buffalos, hartebeest, zebras, antelopes as well as wildebeest which are among the spectacular sights at this destination especially during the time of the wildebeest migration as large numbers of wildebeest move around the savannah plains in search of greener pastures.

Wildlife watching in Kenya You will have picnic lunch in the bush and after continue with game driving. You will return to your lodge where your dinner will be served and you will spend the night in the comfort of your lodge as above.

Day 22: Wildebeest in Masai Mara

As the herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles enter the Masai Mara they are met by more than their fair share of lethal predators. Aside from the threat of the big cats, the lemming-like herds are also faced with over 3000 crocodiles lurking in the murky waters of the Mara River during their river crossing. Watching the herds blindly jump from riverbank ledges and into the river waters is spectacular to say the least. Eventually the massive herds are rewarded with spoils of the wide open Masai Mara plains. For a short while, life is good. When the food supply dwindles and the rains move on, so do the herds. Dinner and Night.

Day 23: Transfer to Masai Mara Triangle

The Mara Triangle is home to large populations of wildlife all year round. Its’ vast open plains and acacia forests are home to an amazing smorgasbord of wildlife including giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, elands and impalas. As you would expect in this area, predators such as lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals and cheetahs are always lurking nearby. The banks of the Mara River are flanked with riverine forests giving shelter and food to elephants, buffaloes, hippos and baboons. During the Great Migration croc lies in wait in the murky waters of the Mara River, ready to snap at weakened prey attempting the fateful crossing of the river.

Rooftop tentDay 24: Second game drive to the wildebeest migration

The triangle is the gateway to the Great Migration and is one of the best locations in the Mara region, the annual wildebeest migration is one the features which make the Triangle a special place for wildlife viewing. Mara Triangle is the entry and exit point for the endless herds of wildebeest and zebras on their trekking from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara, the great migration crossing occurs from July through October and are nothing short of breathtaking. It is very incredible and a sight not to forget watching over million wildebeests and hundreds of thousands of zebras, gazelles and other animals making the perilous trek through the area in search for food and water sources in Masai Mara plains each year.

Day 25: Transfer to Nairobi

After breakfast, transfer to Nairobi with en route lunch. For dinner and overnight.

Day 26: Transfer to Amboseli National Park

You will depart sweet waters for Amboseli national park. This is a full day drive thus you will enjoy an en route lunch and proceed to Amboseli arriving in the evening for lodge check in, dinner and overnight rest.

Day 27: Game drive in Amboseli

You will have early morning breakfast then head to the park for a full day of navigating and touring the park’s landscape, Amboseli national park is famed for the magnificent backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro and huge population of elephants with impressive tusks. On the game drive you will enjoy sights of animals like lions, buffaloes, zebras, elephants, hartebeests, elands, antelopes and many bird species. At lunch you will drive back to your lodge for lunch or have picnic lunch at any picnic spot in the park, in the afternoon you will go for another game drive visiting other parts of the park you have not visited. In the evening you will return to your lodge, have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 28: Game drive & Transfer to Nairobi

You will have early morning breakfast then head to the park for a full day of navigating and touring the park’s landscape, Amboseli national park is famed for the magnificent backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro and huge population of elephants with impressive tusks. On the game drive you will enjoy sights of animals like lions, buffaloes, zebras, elephants, hartebeests, elands, antelopes and many bird species. At lunch you will drive back to your lodge and transfer to Nairobi.  Check in at the lodge, dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

 Day 29: Relaxation in Nairobi and visit the carnivore Restaurant

Have breakfast and relax at the hotel. Lunch at Carnivore Restaurant, located just 8 kilometers from Nairobi city Centre, is a must visit experience for a first-time Kenya visitor, The restaurant’s specialty is meat, with an option of choosing between an all-you-can-eat lunch or dinner in a garden setting. They have a variety of juicy meats roasted over a charcoal fire including Ostrich, Crocodile, Camel and Venison depending on what’s available locally, served alongside beef, lamb, pork and chicken. Delicious side dishes which complete this African cuisine includes salads, soups, vegetable dishes and authentic sauces as well as desserts and Kenyan coffee. Dinner and a night at the lodge.

Day 30: Drop off at Nairobi International Airport
