Tanzania Northern circuit- Coca cola Safari
When it comes to Massive Tourism , then it happens in Tanzania’s Northern Circuit which is ranked as the best Safari place in Tanzania as thousands of tourists flock to Tanzania to view the abundance of flora and fauna on offer. If you’re looking for a relaxed travel experience, one of the best ways to explore Tanzania is via a self-drive journey along one of its picturesque routes, which you can do at your own pace.
Northern Tanzania Circuit is the most popular Safari circuit in Tanzania located Close to Mount Kilimanjaro and its international Airport being Kilimanjaro International Airport as the starting destination for all Wildlife Safaris in Tanzania’s Northern Circuit.
- Arusha National Park can be visited upon an early arrival in Arusha town. The scenery is beautiful with Mount Meru as a backdrop and views of Mt Kilimanjaro on clear days. Wildlife include giraffe, buffalo and several antelope species. This makes the park an excellent place to start your safari.
- Lake Manyara National Park or Tarangire National Park will most likely be visited at the start of your safari. Both parks offer excellent wildlife viewing with a chance of seeing lion. Tarangire is a seasonal park and best visited from June to November. Outside of these months you will probably only visit Lake Manyara. If you visit both parks it is also common to visit one at the start of your safari and the other at the end.
- Ngorongoro Conservation Area offers superb wildlife viewing in an amazing setting. There are few places that have wildlife densities and variety on this level and it is not unusual to see the Big Five in one day.
- Serengeti National Park is one of the most famous parks in Africa with four sectors ( game reserves that make the park which is the third largest National Park of Tanzania). It is Tanzania’s oldest park and UNESCO World Heritage site but any self drive travelers must step in Central Serengeti, Western and Ndutu as the top explored sectors on Self drive holidays. The wide-open plains offer the classic African environment for top-class wildlife viewing throughout the year and the spectacular wildebeest migration is the cherry on top.
Key lakes to explore in Northern Tanzania Circuit include the Lake Eyasi’s and Lake Natron

The southern safari circuit isn’t quite on a par with the northern circuit. However, its ‘off-the-beaten-track’ character makes for a more holistic wilderness experience. Self drive experiences in southern National Park are low although the road conditions are fairly good compared to those of Northern Circuit where travelers are more. The southern circuit is often the choice for a second safari on which marking off the Big Five is less of a concern.

This is the circuit that is less visited compared to the first two and it has bad roads which make its accessibility very limited and complicated. Never miss if your on long term adventure with interest of seeing the primates.
