Day 1: Explore Mountain Kilimanjaro National Park.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport , you will be handed over the rental car by the driver and start on the self drive Safari to explore Mount Kilimanjaro which is located close to the airport. Where you will participate in Nature walk to the water falls and camp on the edges of the roof of Africa as welcome first Night into Tanzania with Self Drive East Africa. You will enjoy the feel of Mountain Kilimanjaro which is the tallest mountain within Africa that offers great Mountaineering tours within Africa, close to Mount Meru National Park also in Tanzania . Day 2: Arusha National Park for Game Drive & walking Safari
After Morning breakfast from the cold slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro , you will transfer to Arusha National Park which is also close to Mount Kilimanjaro for Game drive to see the wildlife animals of Tanzania. During the adventure you will explore the diverse ecosystems, Momella Lakes area. In the afternoon you will go for walking Safaris within the park as a relaxation way to cool the evening hours in Tanzania before you head for the big adventures in Tanzania like Serengeti National Park. Day 3: Drive to Tarangire National Park
You will have morning breakfast and start on the journey to Tarangire National Park the best destination in Tanzanian Parks known for biggest herds of Elephants to be spotted during the scenic game drives in the wilderness on Tanzania road Trip holiday. During the game drive expect to see elephants, giraffes, and birds like the Yellow-collared Lovebird. Day 4: Tarangire National Park (Game Drives)
You will head for the morning game drive to search for the big five animals that you might have not spotted in the previous day game drive and Search for lions, buffaloes, giraffes, and birds like the African Fish Eagle, Tawny Eagles, and White-headed Vultures. Return to the lodge for lunch and afternoon relax at the lodge as above and if camping then enjoy the public campsite as wildlife animals still come to the camp once in a while.
Day 5: Second Game drive & Cultural Experience in local community
After morning breakfast, you will head back for the second game drive to check on what you might have missed out on the previous day and exit the park to head for the cultural visits in the local communities within the boundaries of Tarangire national Park. Dinner and overnight camping in Community.
Day 6: Lake Natron ( Lake Scenic Exploration)
Part from Ngorongoro crater and lake Manyara National Park where Flamingos watching is popular too, then lake Natron is among the reliable Tanzania place to do Bird watching while on road trip in Tanzania and explore the lake that grants you scenic view of the valleys and the lake its self. Among other bird species to be spotted include Pink-backed Pelicans, and White-faced Whistling Ducks around the lake. Dinner and overnight at Africa Safari Lake Natron or Camping on Public Camp.
Day 7: Visit to the Water Falls on Lake Natron.
After morning breakfast , you will visit Ngare Sero Waterfall and enjoy views of Mount Oldonyo Lengai. In the evening , you can visit the near by community for cultural experiences however your at liberty to relax at your camp site.
Day 8:Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park
After morning breakfast , you head to Lake Manyara National Park also known as the birding paradise in Tanzania and the best destination among all the Tanzania parks when it comes to birding expeditions on Road trips , the driver is short and you will start with the visit to the lake shoes to check on animals that come for water drinking in the lunch hours where you will see flamingos, Pelicans, Grey Crowned Cranes, and other wildlife animals and later transfer to the campsite or lodge for dinner and overnight at Africa Safari Rift Valley.
Day 9: Game drive in Lake Manyara National Park
After morning breakfast, you will head for the game drive to search for wildlife animals that include the elephants, antelopes, zebras, buffalo, elephants, giraffes and tree climbing lions that are only found in Lake Manyara and Uganda’s Queen Elizabeth National Park as well as bird species like African Fish Eagles and Yellow-billed Storks. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above or public camp.
Day 10: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area
After the last feel in Lake Manyara National Park , you will start on the journey to connect to Ngorongoro crater conservation areas where you will enjoy the evening view of the mist from the crater, and you enjoy your camping at Simba Campsite.
Day 11: Explore the Ngorongoro Crater
You will wake up in the morning, enjoy breakfast and start to drive to Ngorongoro Crater and descend into the crater floor for a game drive. Spot the Big Five, including Black Rhinos, lions, and wildebeests.Within the crater there are bird species that can be spotted on the lake in the crater including the Crowned Crane, Pel’s Fishing Owl,Flamingos and Grey Crowned Crane. Later return to the campsite for relaxation.
Day 12-Transfer to Serengeti National Park ( Southern Ndutu Region)
After Morning breakfast, you will start on the journey to transfer to Serengeti National park mostly heading to the best Serengeti National Park sector ( southern Sector which is known for migration of the wildebeest , and wildlife watching that hosts the Lions, Cheetahs, and Hyenas. Southern Serengeti is best visited in dry months and after self driving there in rainy season( march, Feb , April and May ) you will check in at your accommodation or campsite for overnight stay.
Day 13:Game drive in Ndutu Region of Serengeti National Park
You will enjoy morning game drive where you will look out for the Great Migration and predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. You will have full day game drive, we would recommend that if your on Self drive holiday , considering getting a guide from the hotel to ensure that the adventure is as expected as they be knowing all the hideouts of the animals in Ndutu sector.
Day 14 : Visit the Wildebeest Calving season .
On this day you will drive to the section where wildebeest calving season to have complete understanding of the wildebeest migration that always take place every year in Serengeti and Masai Mara National Park, you will also spot few birds like the Secretary Birds, Lilac-breasted Rollers, and African Fish Eagles. Later return to the lodge for Overnight at Africa Safari Ndutu or campsite.
Day 15: Relax at the lodge

Day 16: Game drive in Ndutu Serengeti .

Day 17: Transfer to Central Serengeti ( Seronera Area)
The most popular Sector of Serengeti is the Seronera Area which is known as the central point for Serengeti National Park, commonly the visited sector due to the location and every Tanzania Adventurer that visits Serengeti must step in central Point to see the vast landscape.
You will be game driving spotting the various wildlife animals as you head to Seronera sector , its full day game drive and you will refuel your rental jeeps in Seronera Area where payments are only by credit card. Upon arrival you will proceed to Public Camp site for overnight stay or Serena Lodge or Serengeti Rhino Camp
Day 18: Game drive in Seronera Serengeti.
You will wake up early morning and head for the game drive to see the iconic Serengeti plains, home to large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and big cats. After you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Serena hotel or Public campsite.
Day 19: Balloon Trip Central Serengeti (Return for Final Game Drive)
You will be booked in for Balloon Trip and you have to be at the starting point at 6:10am to prepare for the activity which lasts for 4-5 hours enjoying wildlife watching from the sky for ultimate experience of what Serengeti has to offer and the key factor why Serengeti is a must visit destination in northern Tanzania although its considered as an experience destination. During the Sky game drive you will Spot lions, cheetahs, hippos, and the scenic views of the Serengeti plains. Later you will return to the lodge for lunch and relax on the water pool to feel the lodge.
Day 20: Relaxation in Serengeti and evening walking Safaris
After morning breakfast you will go for a walking safari within Serengeti national Park in Central Seronera Area which will reward you with more wildlife experience and in the evening relax at the lodge preparing for next day drive back to Arusha.
Day 21: Transfer from Serengeti National Park to Arusha
After Morning breakfast at 10am, you will set off from Serengeti and start driving back to Arusha Town where you will spend the evening hours doing shopping and visit the craft shops . dinner and overnight at Summits Lodge Arusha.
22: Airport drop at Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA)
Depending on your flight time, you may have some free time for last-minute shopping or relaxation. Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure flight.
