Detailed 7 Days Tanzania Self Drive Holiday -Northern Circuit.

This Tanzania Adventure holiday is recommended to couples, group of friends that wish to explore Northern Tanzania on Classic low budget enjoying every moment of their stay in Tanzania.
Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
You will be welcomed by the safari guide of Self Drive East Africa and start on the adventure heading to Lake Manyara National Park which is the best known national Park that has the tree climbing lions like Uganda’s Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive from Arusha International Airport (Kilimanjaro Airport) to Lake Manyara takes you 3 hours on relaxed drive with the English-speaking guide where you will arrive at lunch time, in the evening you will go to the lake shoes to enjoy birding and wildlife watching as they come for water taking. Stay on alert for Crocodile as they stay on the lake shoes also as their hunting grounds. Later you will return to the lodge for relaxation and feel the place as friends or couples. Dinner and overnight stay at Overnight Kankari lodge Meals are on Full board.
Day 2: Game drive in Lake Manyara & Transfer to Serengeti National Park.
As its well documented within the tourism journals and newspapers, Lake Manyara is hosts the famous tree climbing lions, Elephants which are open to be spotted during the game drive in the wilderness of Tanzania parks with your experienced safari guide. You will return from the game drive at mid-morning and start on the drive to connect to Serengeti National Park the famous destinations within Northern Tanzania Circuit. Dinner and overnight at Thorn Tree.
Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park.
After Early morning breakfast at the lodge, you will head for the game drive to explore the various wildlife animals within the central Serengeti which hosts a variety of wildlife including the big cats and big five.
Note: Depending on the season of travel, Self-drive East Africa understands that there are parts that have more wildlife animals than others and they will select from the four sectors to ensure you enjoy the Serengeti National Park with knowledgeable Safari guide. It can be full day depending on the month of travel and if your interest is the wildebeest migration experiences, then you will be required to advise the team at the time of booking. After the game drive , you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Thorn Tree Camp.
Note: Explore the various Sectors of Serengeti National Park like Grumeti Area , Ndutu Sector , Seronera and northern Serengeti close to Masai Mara National Reserve.
Day 4: Morning Game drive and transfer to Karatu.
Since Serengeti National Park can not be explored on one day game drive as it will be theft of joy on Tanzania Safari tour with Self Drive East Africa, you will go for the second morning game drive to explore other few things and spot other animals including Elephants, and later proceed to exit the park as you seek overnight at the hotels on the banks of the park. During the stay in Karatu town, you will visit the few craft shops, and cultural centers within the town as you refresh in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Kankari Lodge
Day 5: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater and Explore the crater.
You will head to Ngorongoro crater for unique exploration of the world heritage site of Ngorongoro crater seeing the various animals, Game drive in the crater is unique and classic recommended to all Tanzania Self drive travelers that have booked with Self Drive East Africa for classic experiences. Its well stated that Ngorongoro crater visit is expensive but its worthy the price and we shall handle the park entrance to Tanzanian national Park for relaxed adventure with us.
You will enjoy your lunch down at the crater lunch panic place and later proceed to enjoy the game drive before you exit the crater to return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Kankari lodge.
Day 6: Transfer to Tarangire National Park & Game drive
You will set you and head to Tarangire National Park which is located 2 hours’ drive from Karatu, you will access the park and enjoy the game drive which is known for large herds of elephants, lions and leopards. Tarangire National Park is popular for big baobab trees are acting as food for elephants in the wilderness of Tanzania. Tarangire National Park elephants are bigger than those of southern Tanzania National Park and it’s from this basis that we recommend a compressive comparison trip to Southern Tanzania parks like Nyerere National Park , Mikumi National Park and saadani National Park with Self Drive East Africa.
After the game drive you will return back to lodge for dinner and overnight at Sangaiwe tented camp.
Day 7: Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
After morning breakfast and some relaxation at the lodge, you will start on the drive journey back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for flight to home or to Zanzibar if you’re booking an extension to southern & Islands of Tanzania Adventures.
